After Javier Bardem and Josh Brolin appeared onstage together to present the Oscars for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Screenplay, the two did a little impromptu slow dance before kissing each other on the lips. ABC producers weirdly cut to a seven second shot of Penelope Cruz for the duration of the event, which was clearly deemed too traumatizing for the sensitive eyes of Oscar watchers. Perhaps they should have censored James Franco’s entire phoned-in, half-assed, bored stoner hosting job.
