Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has just sent out this video for LGBT Pride month. In it, she talks about her desire to promote equality and help protect LGBT people.
“The LGBT community continues to be persecuted and attacked, often arrested, beaten terrorized, even executed,” Clinton says in the video. “So United States embassies and missions are working to defend the rights of LGBT people of all races, religions and nationalities. Until full and equal rights are a reality for everyone our work is not done.”
