In Love Wars – a short Spanish film at this year’s Notodo Film Festival, two brave Stormtroopers must carry on their relationship in secret while working on the Death Star, as the Rebels battle outside for their freedom. One of the troopers says that if there were anarchy, their relationship would not have to be a secret and suggests that they escape the oppressive Imperial regime. The other argues that they do not need social recognition to know that they love one another.
Sadly, for these two soldiers of the Dark Side, they won’t be alive long enough to figure it all out. As any Star Wars fan knows – that Death Star is about to be a Death TRAP. The short was made by director Vicente Bonet, and is subtitled in English. Love Wars stars two well-known Spanish actors: Jordi Sanchez and Ivan Jara.
